Connect In A Way That Modern Life Rarely Allows

For lifelong friends Korto Tawse-Butha and Sara-Beth Warner, the FairyTea Room is a dream come true. Their vision was simple yet meaningful: a cozy space where people can gather to slow down, savor a cup of tea, and connect in a way that modern life rarely allows. The tearoom is meant to be a celebration of friendship and community. We caught up with them to hear more about their journey.

Tell us about the FairyTea Room. How did it come to life?

We have always aspired to open a business together. We landed on the tearoom a couple years ago and decided it was the perfect fit to entertain and bring people together to create new memories.

What can visitors expect to find on your menu?

Afternoon tea includes a choice of three tea sandwiches, two scones, assorted mini pastries, and a pot of tea. We also offer a special “luncheonette” menu on Thursdays and Fridays, which has more extensive lunch items for dining in or take out. Guests also love our gluten free and vegan options. Bubble tea and matcha lattes are easy to grab when using the bike path, which runs right by us.
