George Hail Public Library is a Warren landmark with deep local roots, built in 1888 by Martha Hail in memory of her husband, George Hail, a prominent Warren businessman. Since its dedication in 1889, the Romanesque Revival building has served the community as a public library while preserving many of its original features, including stained glass windows. Visitors can also explore the Charles Whipple Greene Museum on the top floor, home to documents and artifacts dating to the Revolutionary War.
