North Burial Ground

180 N Main St, Warren, RI 02885

North Burial Ground is one of Warren’s oldest historic sites, with the first burial taking place in 1773. As the town’s second oldest cemetery, it offers a quiet link to the area’s early history and the people who shaped it. Among those laid to rest here are Nicholas Campbell, remembered as a local philanthropist and participant in the Boston Tea Party, along with members of the Maxwell family, owners of the Maxwell House. It remains an important place of memory and heritage in Town.
